Inspired by a Living Legend

In 1957, CAF founder Lloyd Nolen and a group of fellow Texans purchased a P-51 Mustang for $2,500. Soon called "Red Nose," this Mustang was the first of a collection that has grown to more than 180 aircraft. Today, Commemorative Air Force Airbase Georgia continues the Red Nose Legacy through their assignment of this legendary aircraft.
